The Lagos State Film & Video Censors Board (LSFVCB) is the statutory body responsible for regulating, classifying, and licensing films and video works intended for public exhibition and distribution within Lagos State.

What We Do
Film Classification
We assess and classify films and video content to ensure suitability for various audiences, in line with legal, cultural, and ethical standards applicable within Lagos State.
Cinema Licensing
We license and regulate cinemas, film exhibition centers, and related facilities to ensure they operate in compliance with safety, content, and operational guidelines.
Verification and Compliance
We monitor, verify, and enforce compliance among content creators, distributors, and exhibitors, ensuring adherence to classification decisions and licensing requirements.
